Little Gorjuss Things

Welcome to the pure dead mad mental weekend GIVEAWAY………………………. this week I said NO GARBLED IMAGES, I did not fib… It is infact going to be  da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, a treasure hunt………

Now this is going to be a strange one, because I really don’t know if it will work…. I hope its not another disastor…

I am planning a little tag treasure hunt, the rules are quite simple………….

I will set out a list of items or a theme, you have to send me a link to a LICENSED and CORRECT tag that meets the item or theme.

For example, If I ask for say 1. Christmas theme, then I would expect a nice christmasy tag, either snowy etc or with christmas trees etc…….. now I plan to try to police this myself…… so please bare with me…. lol (setting self up for a fall here)

Also if I say fish in it, then obviously the tag must have a fish.

RULES:

There will be a list of 10 items to find a tag to meet, you will reply once with all ten items in it so that I dont have a pile of single lines multiple times by lots of users.. I expect this to take you some time and the prize will reflect this…

1. You can not submit the same tag/snag twice for different answers. (this includes where the tag is identical apart from the text) I will also dissallow copies of the full lists, for example if I put up a list of ten items, and then Suzy copies the list then the first occasion of the list will count, and the later repeats DQ’d. Stop people copying!!! We want none of that!

2. One entry per contestant only.

3. I and Suzanne will make the final decision wether the tag meets the requirment or not (please justify spurious ones with your explainations to possibly sway our decisions…)

4. This may run until Sunday night if we dont get more than ten entrants..

5. I will put all correct entries that meet the 10 requirements on the treasure list into a hat to draw the winner and two runners up.

6. The winner will take away a $50 usd gift certificate, The two runners up will both receive $25 usd.

7. Fun is Mandatory!!!

8. You can make the tags or link to someones tags as long as they meet the Terms Of Use.

9. Good Luck.

10. All Tags must have Suzanne’s artwork in it. (egg on my face if I forgot that rule!!)

I hope you can keep your lists amusing and clever and witty, I will be about for a while to deal with questions etc, questions do not make up a guess, only a list of ten items in a post will count as an entry, numbered 1 - 10 with the link to the tag.

You may post a link to a tag to discuss it with the rest of the blog as either a what do you think about this? etc.. but it will not be counted as an entry….

Call it the last ditch attempt to give you guys a fun weekend before we trot off on holiday.

I’ve not decided the total prize fund, but I intend to run two competitions at the very least, one Friday and one Saturday night.

Then Its a week holiday for Suzy and the Suzettes, and then home to prepare for the made in the shade fair..

QUIET TIMEs

We’re just starting to wind down for our holiday and look forward to a break to recover from the trauma’s of this year, and re-energise ready for the Christmas rush. The next few months promise to be exciting for Suzanne and we hope this means a lot of excitement for you.  A new pack planned for the end of this month, beginning of the next…

Well I managed to get my act together tonight, and despite a day spent laying around suffering as only a man flu victim can do, I am here…….. leaving Suzanne laying around suffering man flu too…….. oops I got her…

So we managed to get the pictures done for the lovely new trinket boxes….

Now it is just a little blog tonight as I must tend to Suzanne and resume my nursing duties, she did look after me this morning so its the very least I can do..

WARNING

Next week Suzanne and I and the whole Suzette family are on our first Family holiday….. this will mean delays for shop orders and gift certficates, to reduce problems we will remove gift certificates from midnight Sunday night, and then re list them Friday night. If you already have them then it will not stop you sending them, or using them, it will only stop people buying new ones.  There will be one post run on Monday morning the next post run will be Saturday morning..

BUSY WEEKEND

I have been keeping on top of my email queries and it is becoming quite clear that COMCAST users are having a lottery of wether they are receiving Gorjuss Art emails, if you have made a query from a COMCAST email address, and you get no reply within 48 hours, PLEASE email back as it is probable that your reply has been blocked by COMCAST. When you do I will send you the reply from another of my email addresses (Grant@gojuss)…

I don’t want anyone waiting for replies unecessarily… so please don’t let it go unchecked… I answer most emails within 12 hours of them being sent…and I am proud of managing this… Its a shame when email filtering stops you getting that service..

I plan to dedicate a lot of tomorrow to license trade ins again, so if you’ve waited a long time, I hope to give you some great news tomorrow.

Well I can honestly say today and yesterday and the whole week has been quite a chore!!

We have had tree surgeons, builders, head of the housing department and all kinds on this week, hopefully it marks the end of a lot of problems we have been putting up with for a few years. One of which may be the route cause of Suzannes Asthma.. so it really is looking bright for the future..

 Icklest Suzette spent some of yesterday getting plastered… I know I know we told him he’s too young to drink, but the Doctors insisted…

An accident arose during a sustain session of using his older brother as a horse when Icklest Suzette found himself airborne… at least for a short period of time before clattering to earth.

One hairline fracture later, he is in plaster from his wrist up to his shoulder.  I have had to stop handing him unopened packets of crisps to eat, and having to remember to open things for him, its a tragic state of affairs I tell you…

Anyway he is in no pain and I continue my search for the person holding the VOODOO doll with Woolcott Family written on it to stem the flow of bad luck!!

PACK 25 Released

Pack 25 has just become the 2nd top selling item in GorjussArt.  It is closing the gap on Pack 24 quickly so things are going well, Gift certificates are being send left and right like wild fire.. Hello everyone it’s Suzanne here, I just wanted to say thank you to you all for your prayers and caring comments, I think they all helped my recovery to be speedy and I hope to make further recovery in quick time.. thanks again.

NEW PAINTING

It’s been a busy day and I managed to get two paintings done for you all, this means I will be able to announce the release date of Pack 25 in the coming week…. so let me introduce you to my new girls….

firstly we have the little mist faery called Misty,

She likes hanging around the bottom of your garden drinking the dew from the ealry morning grass, she is a little bit naughty and has been known to go frog tipping after partying hard with the elves.. If you ever find a frog or toad upturned, its likely to have been by this little mischievous faeiry.

Now we have a pairing to go with the runaway, mr G titled it…. Dollop,

We are of course kidding, its called “Sometimes Rainbows Fade”. Like the Forth Rail Bridge, once they have finnished painting it, its time to start again, well this little girl has the tasks of keeping rainbows bright, but some days they fade and dissapear…these are her busiest days. Armed with her sky paint and brush she skips from cloud to cloud painting the rainbows back.  It is rumoured that one day Mr. G swapped her regular paint for a tartan colour….

GORJUSS ART E-CHECKS

I am in the process of working out a way to use e-checks in the gorjussart shop, the simplest solution is a gorjussart top up system, where you pay e-checks to us and we credit you with gift certificates to the value to spend in the shop.  I shall be formalising a process over the next few days and would like anyone who wants to pay using e-checks that would like to help to get in contact to echeck@gorjussart.com.  We will run some timing tests etc and see if this is a workable situation..

We are so close to a new pack I could release it by midnight tonight, but I won’t… insted we plan to release it 10pm UK time tommorrow night.. this gives us a bit of time to work through the tubes and check them….
