It’s Friday again, blimey it comes around fast !  Suzanne had a good day today, she isnt feeling 100% but knows how to deal with it! (i.e icepacks and rest!) .. with a half day off yesterday morning, she painted in the evening and caught up with emails ( empty inbox I heard!) .. and today she worked only this morning, spending the afternoon relaxing!  So she is behaving!

I’ve been catching up with orders to get all I can get out before the weekend!  A HUGE canvas wrap is still drying before it can be stretched, boxed and shipped.. and I’ve just been informed I have 6 more of various sizes to do now too, that’s my Monday taken care of

It’s been a bit of a MR G day today… we went to see Terminator 4… and its a very good film, with some amazing acting and action scenes.. I wouldn’t be surprised if OSCARs were not awarded to the talented actors involved.. Obviously the lighting was a big let down in some of the scenes…typical. I hope someone got an earful for that..
Anyway it was home to watch Andy Murray progress further in Wimbledon… what a game. He plays again on Saturday to make it through to the 2nd week… wish him luck..

Its nearly School Holiday time for us in the UK….. (just one half day to go!) means even more carry on in a day!!! Also its nearly Friday… which means ANOTHER Giveaway spectacular this weekend.. Not Sure what prize we will offer. I am open to suggestions…

Just a quick update that our canvas prints are back in stock in the Etsy shop.  Square pictures in 8″ x 8″ or 10″ x 10″ or for any of portrait/landscape pictures, choose an 8″ x 10″ !  For larger sizes (up to 16″ x 20″), please visit the main shop..  all canvas prints are stretched around a wooden frame, have deep edges that are staple free so you can hang them as they are on you wall ! They look just like a real painting!  All hardware is attached, ready to hang straight out of the box! .. perfect for birthday/wedding/anniversary gifts or just treat yourself ( and your home!) ..

I know you all love to peek at our world, so let’s show you all properly : the house of gorjussssss shall we?.. here’s our lovely view, we live right in the city, it’s very busy and you can’t see the buses, trains and cars ( and aeroplanes!) we can hear all the time.. but it’s very green isnt it?.. It’s noisy but pretty!  Glasgow is know for having so many green areas, even just a sprinkling of trees makes a diff!

The city centre in the distance ( George square, The Armadillo/SECC etc) .. it’s really busy here with tonnes of shops and cafes and stuff.. and our lovely neighbours..  there’s quite a mix of new and old buildings in the area.. and as you can see, our streets go in every direction you can imagine, no routine ‘blocks’ here! ( Makes getting lost very easy, and driving cars very er.. ‘interesting’.. hehehe!)

The balcony is laaaarge, we keep saying we’ll put a wee table and chairs out there for me to eat croissants and fresh Orange Juice and sketch in the mornings, (while Mr G packs orders ha!) it has not happened tho.. I think I’d either melt or be drowned, there’s no ‘in-between’ weather days!

We’ve released Pack 35 AND pack 36 as individual tubes! I know lots ofyou were eager to pick and choose, sorry they took so long ( it takes a lot of time to upload them all individually!) .. but they’re finally in the shop!  Remember we do NOT charge extra for Custom packs!

Hello everyone, the opening of the Swoon show at the Black Maria Gallery! Sadly I wasnt there in person but it looks like it was very busy !

The four ornate cream coloured frames are my originals, two have now SOLD but there’s two still available!

I’ve been working really hard this week on new paintings, hopefully I’ll be able to show you these early next week! ..(and omg wimbledon starts nxt week yay!)

We’ve got great news for all our gorjuss rubber stamping friends out there, the official Just Gorjuss group is squeezing over and made space for you.. yes there’s now a special area known affectionatly as the ’stamper zone’ !  Oh that’s right, there’s also a warm welcome promised and lots of friends to chat with too, you’re not just limited to the stamper zone so do pop along, and make new gorjuss friends in the Just Gorjuss Group!

Good Evening Everyone,
What a weekend, the new packs are selling well, the tennis match was amazing.. and a rather sore Suzanne took a well earned day off.

Where do I start? 7 days till Wimbledon…. and our very own Andrew Murray has set the nation talking about his chances to win Wimbledon…. Well I think he will have a great tournament and winning it is well within his grasp. So I wish him luck and I look forward to enjoying every game he plays. For now CONGRATULATIONS Andy for winning todays Aegon Championships at Queen’s.

So Suzanne is resting up with a busy week planned to get a lot of artworks finished, and of course she will be tweeting away as well. I sometimes tweet and I plan this week to get some more piccies of the Kismet and some plants in the garden down the road.. so keep your eyes on this blog..
