New New New New New… yes, lots of NEW things!

Hello everyone, what a week we are having here phew ! Hospital appointments galore, so it’s a very tired Suzanne that writes this post to you tonight!

We have great news from Santoro, well two really, not only have they won some very amazing and smile-worthy awards recently, for some product lines that we are proud contains gorjuss products, but they are bringing you something NEW today too!

Here’s what they’ve won:

Santoro won Gift Under £10, For their Eclectic Range of Emery Boards * ( the gorjuss nail files are part of this collection!)

Also, their Soft Touch Premium Journals have won the highly commended title

And although they have no gorjuss line in these cuties, we thoought we’d mention them anyway !: They also won the CARD & WRAP category with their new innotive Pop n Rock cards!

Well done to everyone at Santoro, they just keep leading the way, and I am so proud they are tkaing my girls with them !

NEWLY RELEASED

We got news a few days ago that something new was being released, so I’ve been waiting for my Postman to arrive like a kid waiting for Santa ! Today it arrived with me, and it also popped into the Santoro online shop, I’m sure it will start reaching retailers near you, wherever you are, soon.. yes, it’s another soft journal, the same kind that WON an award !

I have to admit I collect little diaries, especially illustrated ones, so I know a LOT about them, when I tell you the detail in this little lovely is amazing ( I dont know how they do it, it astounds me !) .. I really mean it !!

A NEW PROJECT

I’ve just started a new journal project, it’s called ‘Journal For A Cause’, if you wanna sign up and play along, all you need is a pen and a journal/notepad ! You can find the link in the sidebar —>

Here’s the very first page, Copic Marker on Kraft paper, which I love, the brown of the paper dull the colours down a lot but it gives it a nice tone ! Where Have I Been Hiding All These Updates ?!

Hello everyone ! Hope you had a relaxing weekend, wasn’t the Guest Giveaway a great one?! .. we’re busy here behind the scenes, I’ve been working on TWO fantastic Interviews, this week, that should be released soon, so do checkback for news on these, you’ll love the questions I was asked ! Also, we’ve got another Etsy site we were featured on !

The journal project I’ve been working on for the past month has now finished I am so sad it has ! Here’s apeek at ALL the pages that were completed during it

We’ve had loads of interest over these pages, and although I was gonna hang onto them as it was a personal project, I decided to offer them to you, they deserve a good home to go to, so if you have fallen in love with any of them let me know, but yell quickly as I’m sure they will go fast !

Most are on brown Kraft paper, around 5″ x 7″, so could be easily framed ( if Interested in framing by us, just ask, we’ll see what frames we have in stock !) Some have girls on, some have ot her wee things on, you’ll hav eto look through them to see, i didnt manage to do EVERY number, so if you’re wondering why a number is missing, I missed the day !

As Im going through Journal Page withdraw, I’m starting another project ! This one is by the same leader, the wonderful Janel over at www.iheartrunwithscissors.com who comes up with the most fantastic prompts for the pages ever ! Janel is planning on adopting in a few years, and is asking for a small donation in return of being included in the next project, it is def worth it, so if you are interested ( no drawing skill required!) you can find out more here:

Now I mentioned lovely Emma, DT for Crafthouse Press yesterday, and showed yous ome of her amazing creations using Crafthousee Press gorjuss kits ! Now I want to tell you about the QVC Customer Event Show in Central London, and show you some pics she took while there ! She made looooads of lovely cards for the event, you can view them in more detail on her blog, (dont forget to add it to your fave blog reader/bookmarks !)

Isnt this great? Sorry I didnt notify you all about the event, I can only pass on what I get told, and I’ve only just found out!

But, it looked like a great event, and everyone looks happy ! Check out the gorjuss Make & Take table, ( apparently there were queue’s for this table !)

I havent show you a journal page since Day 17 ! Goodness me !

Lets catch up shall we ..

Day 18,Our great prompt was:

Journal Prompt 18: Music is one of my most favorite things ever!! It translates emotions that I can’t even imagine putting into words. I love it. Today I want you to create a playlist of some kind. It can be your summer playlist, your July playlist, songs from your wedding day, or favorite songs of all time ) This one will be another fun one to look at down the road )

Day 19 was:

Journal Prompt 19: Today I want you to create a “guide to your city.” What are the must-see things that you would want a visitor to experience in your city. This can guide can be for your city, town, or state. I am really excited to see these and to maybe even use them in my future when traveling!! Have fun with this!!!

And for day 20, I felt a little awkward so I’ve skipped that day, I dont carry a Bag about, and as I’ve been in Bed for nearly a year, there is NOTHING left in my old bag either ( You can guarantee you will need everything in at least 3 weeks, out of your bag !) .. I couldnt interpret thisinto any other prompt to suit my needs, so yes, I took a break !

And back to it on Day 21, I loved this one, it’s def one of my favourite prompts !

Journal Prompt 21: What is your most favorite quote? A quote that inspires you, or your mantra. … Today is the day to share your inspiring words with your friends )

So here’s my fave quote: Life isnt about how to survive the STORM, it’s about how to enjoy the RAIN. Time to tip the umbrella over every now and again, and feel the rain on your face, and remember, you can get through this, one day at a time! Hope you like it !

And finally Day 22, I did today ! (Tuesday!)

Journal Prompt 22: Today I want to know what your favorite holiday is!! There are soooo many holidays out there and the cool thing is that they differ depending on where you live, your family, and your religion. Teach me all about your favorite holiday and why it’s your favorite )

Honestly, my fave has to be Hallowe’en, here in the UK it’s not as ‘big’ as in the US, partly I think because it is FREEEZING at that time of year and also always PITCH DARK by the time kids get home from school , so trick or treating is a cold, dark affair !! I love it, buuut, I always ( Secretly) love St Valentines day too, theres something ridiculously romantic about it, while procrastinating about the unfeminist bellyache of it all, under my breath i am hoping for a tiny handmade card from my sweetheart ! ! Come on, I bet you are too right?

I’ve been bedbound for nearly 9 months now, and it’s amazing how many Pyjamas I have collected!!!

{STILL TO BE ADDED: Journal Prompt 15: Today I would like you to brainstorm some goals for the upcoming month. A short list of goals that will be attainable to accomplish in one month.}
