Busy couple of days here order-wise, it’s certainly September when Mr G gets buried by post even on a Thursday! .. but he’s managed to ship everything that needed shipping! We did a special order of a framed One Day At A Time print this week, so if you are wanting a framed print, please do ask before ORDERING so we can order a frame for you and give you a time scale… We are always happy to look into frames for you when you ask.

As the tennis is keeping me up late ( why is it more awkward to watch tennis in the USA than in Australia??!) .. I fell asleep before Murray’s first match ( second after midnight our time argh!) .. I’m spending more time painting as I watch the matches in the evening.. it’s great being a woman and able to multi task!
(P.S my thoughts are that Rafa may take this grand slam, what a win that would be!)
Birds of a feather, flock together as they say.. and this little lovely wishes she could join her new found friends flock that’s for sure !
Also, Sandy who runs the gorjuss group sent me a My Little Pony this week, her daughter looooves them so I wanted to paint her up and make her extra special! It arrived with me today and I waved a magic wand over it:
and some Gesso.. well a LOT of gesso ! The she was sanded..
and then lots of paint! It was soooo nice to get the ‘real’ paints out again, as you know I dont touch acrylics much because of my poor Back !
She’ll be spray varnished to protect her, so she’ll be fine to play with but er.. she can’t swim !
It’s my first attempt at something like this, so be kind !! hehehe!
